4) Jawahar wells under E.G.S.

Programme of Jawahar wells under E.G.S. started during the year 1988-89. In this scheme limit of funds is Rs. One Lack for each beneficiary for constructing well.
The terms and conditions for selection of beneficiary are as follows.

• Upto 0.60 to 2 Hect. Backward class beneficiary                           ------  20%
• Upto 0.60 to 2 Hect.Othar than  Backward class beneficiary         ------  40%
• Upto 2 Hect.to 7 Hect. Beneficiary as per conditions of NABARD  ------  40%

 

As per above conditions beneficiaries are selected by Taluka Selection Comittees and it is finalised by District Selection Comittee. The Guardian Minister of district is the President of District Selection Comittee.
